If you are like me when it comes to veggies, you know that they are good for you but just do not get the servings needed per day.
Well for a few months now I have been drinking green smoothies to get the intake of veggies that I have been missing in my daily servings. I drink at least two glasses a day, one for lunch and one between lunch and dinner(depending on my workout schedule for that day).
Now you may be thinking like I did when I heard of and saw green smoothies(YUK). But I am here to tell you it taste GREAT.
Just choose a few veggies such as: spinach, kale, celery, parsley cucumbers etc. Mix it with your choice of fruits such as: bananas, berries, pineapples, apples, kiwi etc.
Now blend a couple of veggies and fruits together and there you will have yourself a green smoothie.
Here is one that I like to make
1 cup of spinach, half a cucumber, handful of parsley, 1 banana, half cup of chopped strawberries and a little pineapple juice
Green smoothies taste great, boost your energy level and is good for your health
Now you can't go wrong with that
